Patrick Armstrong made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Houghton in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Henley on Thames United's Jake Marriott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Armstrong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Linkhorst in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sofoklis Prinianakis saved Henley on Thames United from getting behind. ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Houghton in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Peter Linkhorst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Kristian Ottaway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jake Marriott fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henley on Thames United's protests and gave Jake Marriott a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Henley on Thames United booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Linkhorst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carl Houghton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Patrick Armstrong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Kristian Ottaway made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Armstrong. ManagerZone Crew's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames United's Carl Houghton got a free kick in the 58th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Carl Houghton notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong. Patrick Armstrong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrick Armstrong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carl Houghton went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Beinn Speight hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Marriott in the 77th minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henley on Thames United's Kristian Ottaway got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Henley on Thames United fully deserved thier win.
