Torsten Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Nekrasov in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Fritz Brandin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC Caspiy's Martyn Baiseitov. Martyn Baiseitov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Georg Wiklund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Martyn Baiseitov skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Martyn Baiseitov made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Georg Wiklund sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Artem Yastrebov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Georg Wiklund fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boom Shaka Laka's protests and gave Georg Wiklund a yellow card for diving instead. Georg Wiklund hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, FC Caspiy's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Andreasson came free, but Martyn Baiseitov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Wiklund in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martyn Baiseitov saved FC Caspiy from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Filipp Debabov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Bergström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Caspiy's zone, Rune Nykvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyn Baiseitov came out of the goal and Rune Nykvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Georg Wiklund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martyn Baiseitov came out and tried to block the shot, but Georg Wiklund slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Martyn Baiseitov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Wiklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Torsten Bergström made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Boris Nekrasov sent off a good shot on target. When Fritz Brandin fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boom Shaka Laka's protests and gave Fritz Brandin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Caspiy booed when Boom Shaka Laka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Brandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Georg Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Boom Shaka Laka's Torsten Bergström got control of the ball when Klim Muravev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 76th minute, Fritz Brandin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torsten Bergström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Andrey Lisnyanskiy. Fritz Brandin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Boom Shaka Laka's Torsten Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkhip Repin in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th match minute, FC Caspiy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klim Muravev to maneuver through the defense. Klim Muravev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Torsten Bergström made a huge save. Torsten Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klim Muravev in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Torsten Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boris Nekrasov. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Caspiy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
