With a little luck, Academia Militar MZ's Diamantino Magalhães got control of the ball when Pedro Artigue tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernd Goldsche took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Cura. Flavio Cura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Hélder Custódio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Cura. Barcelona Sporting Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélder Custódio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Barcelona Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Goldsche came free, but Flavio Cura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Cristian Garagorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona Sporting Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Garagorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Barcelona Sporting Club's goal looked a bit too open when André Luís Leite came free, but Flavio Cura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barcelona Sporting Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Genílson França was slow to take the kick. During this time Academia Militar MZ's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Academia Militar MZ's corner Genílson França fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Cura quite easily take care of the ball. Flavio Cura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genílson França's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Genílson França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Cristian Garagorri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona Sporting Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Militar MZ the free kick. The Academia Militar MZ fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Academia Militar MZ's Genílson França looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Barcelona Sporting Club defense, Genílson França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Cura. The Barcelona Sporting Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Cura should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Custódio in the 42nd minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Flavio Cura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Academia Militar MZ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Genílson França hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, Academia Militar MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Leite to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernd Goldsche made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Academia Militar MZ got a corner. Barcelona Sporting Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genílson França ran over to the corner to take the kick. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Artigue in the 57th minute of play. Barcelona Sporting Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Genílson França scored to the left of an out of position Flavio Cura, making the score, 0-5. After 61 played minutes Barcelona Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Garagorri. Flavio Cura was a little too slow when Bernd Goldsche got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-6. Flavio Cura was a little too slow when Hélder Custódio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. Garcia Pestaña recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diamantino Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from De-la-Cruz Avecilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Academia Militar MZ's goal looked a bit too open when De-la-Cruz Avecilla came free, but Diamantino Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Carlinhos Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Cristian Garagorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Cura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Bernd Goldsche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Cura. In the 92nd minute, Hélder Custódio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Cura. The goal made the score 0-10. Academia Militar MZ's Diamantino Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guagua Respaldizar in the 95th minute of play. The Barcelona Sporting Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Academia Militar MZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
