The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilson Duarte during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Damião. After some careless play in the BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS defense, Luiz Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xande Gay. The BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xande Gay should have stopped the shot. Nilson Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Xande Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS defense, Nilson Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xande Gay. The BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xande Gay should have stopped the shot. After 13 played minutes Independente FC got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro Matos. Nilson Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Loyola to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Raí Prestes made a precise shot to the right of Xande Gay. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 22nd minute, Independente FC's Luiz Marquez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 24th match minute, Independente FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Cahyo Rantung was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Independente FC! Xande Gay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Marquez's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. If Raí Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carlos Eduardo Batista fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Batista a yellow card for diving instead. 41 minutes into the game, one of BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xande Gay had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Nilson Duarte's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS were furious when Carlos Eduardo Batista was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Xande Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Duarte in the 46th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Nilson Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.
Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raí Prestes in the 54th minute of play. Nando Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Independente FC's Nando Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil de Salles in the 57th minute of play. When Raí Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Independente FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raí Prestes couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Wiliam Campidelis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xande Gay. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiliam Campidelis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Wiliam Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Xande Gay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nando Sena made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gil de Salles sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the match, BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Campidelis came free, but Xande Gay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Xande Gay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raí Prestes's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Wiliam Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
