Torsten Bergström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Hélder Custódio took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Bergström. Torsten Bergström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Genílson França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Torsten Bergström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diamantino Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Wiklund in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Boom Shaka Laka got a corner. Academia Militar MZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Bern ran over to the corner to take the kick. Torsten Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernd Goldsche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernd Goldsche in the 30th minute of play forced Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Torsten Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Boom Shaka Laka's Torsten Bergström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Boom Shaka Laka from getting a goal against them. Genílson França could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Torsten Bergström made a huge save. Torsten Bergström came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche. But to his dismay, Bernd Goldsche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 46th minute, Hélder Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Militar MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Custódio in the 57th minute of play forced Boom Shaka Laka's goalkeeper Torsten Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boom Shaka Laka's Torsten Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson França in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Bernd Goldsche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Bergström. Boom Shaka Laka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernd Goldsche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Torsten Bergström came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Militar MZ's Hélder Custódio. But to his dismay, Hélder Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Torsten Bergström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genílson França went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Torsten Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernd Goldsche, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Boom Shaka Laka's Torsten Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernd Goldsche in the 75th minute of play. Genílson França hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Bernd Goldsche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Bergström. Boom Shaka Laka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernd Goldsche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 14-0. 83 minutes into the match, Boom Shaka Laka's goal looked a bit too open when Bernd Goldsche came free, but Torsten Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Bernd Goldsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torsten Bergström came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche. But to his dismay, Bernd Goldsche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. After 89 minutes of play, Academia Militar MZ's Bernd Goldsche made it 16-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Bergström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute Bernd Goldsche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95thth minute of the game Bernd Goldsche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boom Shaka Laka's Torsten Bergström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Academia Militar MZ were the better team. Academia Militar MZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
