The Xlashrs FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Independente FC were winning 1-2.

Leif Boklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Independente FC's Nando Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Wennerström in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raí Prestes got free with Leif Boklund in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leif Boklund made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Raí Prestes sent off a good shot on target. When Raí Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independente FC's protests and gave Raí Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Raí Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
