In the 19th minute of the match San Mauro A Mare FC got a corner. Albardón F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dinu Dobre ran over to the corner to take the kick. San Mauro A Mare FC's Cristiano Patricelli was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eustaquio Tulio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of San Mauro A Mare FC booed when Albardón F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Sugár didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Levent Hicran made a precise shot to the right of Eustaquio Tulio. Albardón F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Lucero got free with Rogério Mitovski in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the match, Albardón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Graziani came free, but Eustaquio Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Cremonese kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levent Hicran in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustaquio Tulio prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Levent Hicran to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 92nd minute Juan Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Mitovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Vasco Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The San Mauro A Mare FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing San Mauro A Mare FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
