In the 34th minute Leo Billock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelian Coporan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Long Liang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Dušan Vlahović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Billock did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Aurelian Coporan 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
