Olimpiu Târlea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Aquilino Ponte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tornadele Siret's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Ponte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olimpiu Târlea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, A4p FC Gad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Chindriș to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Vlad Miniș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After the first half Tornadele Siret were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience held their breath when Zygmunt Zurawski in the 54th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Olimpiu Târlea's left hand side. 59 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Emir Işıklar came free, but Olimpiu Târlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by A4p FC Gad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zygmunt Zurawski was slow to take the kick. During this time Tornadele Siret's players had a chance to rest. Albert Flintașu made a great header on Tornadele Siret's corner, it was just that A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea managed to reach the ball for a save. Olimpiu Târlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vlad Miniș in the 80th minute. Vlad Miniș took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olimpiu Târlea. Olimpiu Târlea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Olimpiu Târlea came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Tornadele Siret's Vlad Miniș. But to his dismay, Vlad Miniș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. After a defensive mix-up in Tornadele Siret's zone, Petru Tărău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardinho Lopes came out of the goal and Petru Tărău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Codrin Dragalina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Tornadele Siret could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A4p FC Gad throughout the match.
