Bucura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özen Mukremin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nechifor Zeciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Taşcău, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Kobra TEAM's King Junior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özen Mukremin in the 43rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Bucura defense, Gheorghe Taşcău kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nechifor Zeciu. The Bucura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Zeciu should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionică Lucescu got free with Nechifor Zeciu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nechifor Zeciu came out of the goal and Gheorghe Taşcău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gheorghe Taşcău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nechifor Zeciu made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Gheorghe Taşcău sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Carlomagno Nunez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but King Junior was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 98th minute Gheorghe Taşcău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Zeciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Kobra TEAM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bucura.
