In the 19thth minute of the game Viorel Leu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Viorel Leu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelian Coporan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viorel Leu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelian Coporan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viorel Leu in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Coporan saved Academia Rio from getting behind. Viorel Leu had several of the Academia Rio's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Aurelian Coporan as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Viorel Leu came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Leu couldn't finish the play. Aurelian Coporan was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Viorel Leu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viorel Leu really showed his touch with that goal: 5-1. Narcis Răcănel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Aurelian Coporan made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Radu Păvăloae got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Gilbert Nalaskowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Rio the free kick. After 44 played minutes GoooooooooooooooooooooooL got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Nalaskowski. In the 45th minute of the match Codrin Ionete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aron Chindriș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viorel Leu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Coutinho to maneuver through the defense. Aurelian Coporan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viorel Leu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Leu came free, but Aurelian Coporan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Leu in the 58th minute of play. Viorel Leu took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelian Coporan. Aurelian Coporan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. The throw-in from Radu Păvăloae in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Hortêncio Coutinho. If Pankracy Siwy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Coporan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Leu in the 73rd minute of the match. Aurelian Coporan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pankracy Siwy, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Siwy in the 93rd minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Aurelian Coporan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the game, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Viorel Leu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelian Coporan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. There was no doubt that GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were the better team. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
