The referee ignored A4p FC Gad's protests and gave Horaţiu Arsenescu a yellow card for diving instead. Olimpiu Târlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Dunajski in the 53rd minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olimpiu Târlea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A4p FC Gad's Olimpiu Târlea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Barbu in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua Pildesti's zone, Felix Grigoroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Văduvescu came out of the goal and Felix Grigoroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
