The audience was convinced that Stig-Ove Axelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Lopez was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Corralito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Sjöman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ViHörs's zone, Bebeto Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Sjöman came out of the goal and Bebeto Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Corralito AFC booed when ViHörs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bebeto Chaves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of William Sjöman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Bebeto Chaves made a precise shot to the right of William Sjöman. ViHörs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Bebeto Chaves sped through ViHörs's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of William Sjöman. Bebeto Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. William Sjöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Corralito AFC's Valentin Quinto made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bebeto Chaves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Sjöman having to make a save.
