The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolphe Lenain during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored The Arquitect's protests and gave Cristiano Santirso a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes The Arquitect got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Santirso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Sutter in the 72nd minute of play forced The Arquitect's goalkeeper Telo Meto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Cristiano Santirso took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Tiburcio Cordarius to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Arquitect had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
