The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Gedeon Káposztás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Esbjörnsson. Xlashrs FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gedeon Káposztás was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Björn Esbjörnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gedeon Káposztás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xlashrs FC's Björn Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Mika in the 9th minute of play. Grêmio Papão de WC's Kléber Barral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Olle Ålberg in the 11 minute of the game. Björn Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gedeon Káposztás in the 16th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Gedeon Káposztás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Papão de WC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gedeon Káposztás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Björn Esbjörnsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Xlashrs FC's Stig Wennerström got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute, Grêmio Papão de WC's Filip Mika ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Björn Esbjörnsson. Björn Esbjörnsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Björn Esbjörnsson was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Gedeon Káposztás capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gedeon Káposztás really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xlashrs FC's goalkeeper Björn Esbjörnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Grêmio Papão de WC were awarded a corner. Edson Faria went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 34th minute, Maurício Câmara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Gedeon Káposztás made a precise shot to the right of Björn Esbjörnsson. Xlashrs FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 38th minute of the match, Edson Faria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Björn Esbjörnsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Björn Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gedeon Káposztás in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Gedeon Káposztás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Esbjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olle Ålberg made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Grêmio Papão de WC's Kléber Barral. Björn Esbjörnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Gedeon Káposztás made the kick off in the second half. Filip Mika scored 7-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Esbjörnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Grêmio Papão de WC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Filip Mika hit a great ball. Gedeon Káposztás took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Esbjörnsson. Björn Esbjörnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Xlashrs FC's Björn Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Xlashrs FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Leme was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio Papão de WC's players had a chance to rest. Grêmio Papão de WC's Edson Faria was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Björn Esbjörnsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Xlashrs FC's Björn Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 73rd minute of play. Filip Mika struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Björn Esbjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio Papão de WC. Andréas Linquist made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Claudio Fallito sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Gedeon Káposztás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Esbjörnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gedeon Káposztás came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gedeon Káposztás couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Gedeon Káposztás ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Esbjörnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Laércio Travassos got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Leif Hultman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andréas Linquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Esbjörnsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Grêmio Papão de WC were the better team. Grêmio Papão de WC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
