Sebastián Sosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match Vikingos FC got a corner. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marek Torm ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Blomkvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Sosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Blomkvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cai Wei Xi to make the kick off. In the 57th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Fiz to maneuver through the defense. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ made a substitution. Vikingos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Wei Xi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Swan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Cai Wei Xi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Arsenio Manuelo got a free kick in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
