Zoil Pequeño started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Zoil Pequeño kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pete Luna. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Zoil Pequeños short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Pete Luna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Darkness's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Zoil Pequeño scored to the left of an out of position Pete Luna, making the score, 2-0. Pete Luna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 16th minute. Zoil Pequeño might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pete Luna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoil Pequeño ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Darkness's Pete Luna got control of the ball when Zoil Pequeño tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pete Luna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pete Luna made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Zoil Pequeño sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kane Einstein in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Boldu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeng Jian Cheng to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Darkness's Pete Luna got control of the ball when Zoil Pequeño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pete Luna made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Zoil Pequeño sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Darkness's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fortun Bobes was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo ScrugenFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd minute Junior Busquets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Luna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Adolfo Jacindo hit a great ball. Zoil Pequeño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Pete Luna made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ole-Gunnar Klose stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pete Luna narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deportivo ScrugenFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fortun Bobes in the 53rd minute. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Fortun Bobes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pete Luna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Zoil Pequeño scored 3-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pete Luna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Darkness defense, Zoil Pequeño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pete Luna. The Darkness fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pete Luna should have stopped the shot. Darkness's Rodriguinho Duarte was substituted for Kane Einstein. After 63 played minutes Darkness got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Izel. The audience was convinced that Zoil Pequeño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pete Luna was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 70th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pete Luna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Pequeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Zoil Pequeño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darkness's Pete Luna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pete Luna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Pequeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zoil Pequeño in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pete Luna saved Darkness from getting behind. Zoil Pequeño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Jian Cheng in the 84th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Leobardo Padierna came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Deportivo ScrugenFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leobardo Padierna couldn't finish the play. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Tao Lei Le replaced Zeng Jian Cheng.
