Pete Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 9th minute of the match. Joel Enekoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pete Luna having to make a save. In the 15th match minute, Darkness was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Hori to maneuver through the defense. Pete Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 16th minute of play. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kosmas Banasopoulos in the 17th minute. When Adolfo Jacindo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Darkness fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Jacindo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Blomkvist in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pete Luna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Peter Blomkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pete Luna was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Pete Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 24th minute of the match. Ole-Gunnar Klose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Nicasio Abad made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 29th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pete Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pete Luna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s zone, Kane Einstein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Abad came out of the goal and Kane Einstein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Hori hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were awarded a corner. Kosmas Banasopoulos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Darkness's goalie and right to Gökçe Yalazalp. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Darkness's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Peter Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Peter Blomkvist made a precise shot to the right of Pete Luna. Darkness's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Cai Wei Xi made the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Abad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Jacindo went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Cai Wei Xi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pete Luna. That made the score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. Darkness made a substitution. Rodriguinho Duarte replaced Kane Einstein. When Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cai Wei Xi in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 80th minute of the match, Ahmet Demircioğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pete Luna saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 95th minute Rodriguinho Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Demircioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Pete Luna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s William Lebigot was substituted for Joel Enekoitz.
