The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Los Muñes de Don Cuco booed when Darkness was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pete Luna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rien Oss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Rien Oss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pete Luna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Darkness getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gaston Izel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rien Oss in the 42nd minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Darkness's Gaston Izel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Rien Oss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darkness the free kick. Pete Luna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rien Oss in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rien Oss to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Darkness defense, Rien Oss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pete Luna. The Darkness fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pete Luna should have stopped the shot. Pete Luna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rien Oss in the 58th minute of play. When Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Rien Oss in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darkness's goalie prevented a goal. Darkness's Pablo-Enrique Cuba was substituted for Aldebaran Tauro. Los Muñes de Don Cuco made a substitution. Ramon Pero replaced Rien Oss. The corner ended in Iker Losada almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Darkness's Pete Luna did a great save. After a rather tough play, Darkness's Rosendo Seguinus got a free kick in the 67th minute. Darkness made a substitution. Eugenio Frechoso replaced Rodolfo Hori. When Gaston Izel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. Ramon Pero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pete Luna having to make a save. After 92 played minutes Los Muñes de Don Cuco got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Moreira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Pero in the 94th minute of play forced Darkness's goalkeeper Pete Luna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Darkness players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Muñes de Don Cuco.
