Dustin Poirier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Abad having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wu Hao Xu in the 7th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 10th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Pequeño, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Zoil Pequeño took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nicasio Abad to make any attempt to save it. Zoil Pequeño hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wu Hao Xu in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoil Pequeño got free with Nicasio Abad in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Hao Xu came free, but Jose Boldu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Lei Jian Xiong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Boldu. Deportivo ScrugenFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lei Jian Xiong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Joel Enekoitz came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Enekoitz couldn't finish the play. Zoil Pequeño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Enekoitz came free, but Jose Boldu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Boldu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Jian Xiong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Alonzo Gomesano put in a rough tackle. Fortun Bobes scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Abad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wu Hao Xu was the one to do the kick off. Joel Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cai Wei Xi was substituted for Lei Jian Xiong. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Gökçe Yalazalp was substituted for Wu Hao Xu. In the 58th minute Zeng Jian Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoil Pequeño in the 61st minute of play. After 62 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Junior Busquets. Deportivo ScrugenFC made a substitution. Leobardo Padierna replaced Zoil Pequeño. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Regis Padriña quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Timoteo Fiz, made in the 68th minute of the game. Nicasio Abad came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo ScrugenFC's Leobardo Padierna. But to his dismay, Leobardo Padierna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 88 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Junior Busquets came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Abad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leobardo Padierna went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Tao Lei Le was substituted for Zeng Jian Cheng. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leobardo Padierna in the 95th minute of play. Deportivo ScrugenFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
