Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jakob Pernambucano started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Eger in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Aleson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Geovani Madureira came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Castanheiro SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Madureira couldn't finish the play. Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jakob Pernambucano 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Asteri Reganado kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Michael Curiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doni Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Arratia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Sarmento took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Aleson. Esteban Aleson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Marcelo Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Júnior Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Aleson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asteri Reganado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Seco to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Alagoano. Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Castanheiro SC from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marcelo Eger made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Mirco Vucevic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vanadio F.C. and the Castanheiro SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Esteban Aleson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Pinho in the 54th minute of play. Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perpinya Tirado in the 56th minute of play. Doni Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Pernambucano in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Jakob Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Aleson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marco Bezerra. Marcelo Egers short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Esteban Aleson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Christian Arratia hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Doni Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Fiori Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fiori Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Fiori Félix got a free kick in the 79th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Luisinho Seco put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Castanheiro SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Vanadio F.C. a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jakob Pernambucano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Castanheiro SC's Doni Seco. 2-1. Mirco Vucevic kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Vanadio F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Asteri Reganado. Castanheiro SC's Geovani Madureira got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Vanadio F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Castanheiro SC for a fine match.
