A hard shot 5 in the game by Godfried van Driest from a close distance when the talented Philip Carter managed to make a qualified save. Qurbo FC's players were relieved. After 12 minutes, Leon Vickers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qurbo FC and the Meliestraat SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Leon Vickers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 13 minutes, Godfried van Driest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meliestraat SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfried van Driest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godfried van Driest recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Godfried van Driest made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Qurbo FC's Philip Carter tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried van Driest in the 31st minute of play forced Qurbo FC's goalkeeper Philip Carter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Matthew Hamer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qurbo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meliestraat SC the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Qurbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Hamer to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Alfred Tevreden from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Philip Carter's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfried van Driest in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Carter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Meliestraat SC's Godfried van Driest in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Qurbo FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd match minute, Qurbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Robinson to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Wesley Robinson made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Overmars in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Carter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfried van Driest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Carter having to interfere. Philip Carter came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Meliestraat SC's Godfried van Driest. But to his dismay, Godfried van Driest quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Meliestraat SC from getting a goal against them. After 64 minutes Meliestraat SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vic Johnson who took care of the corner kick. In the 66th minute, Warren Winehouse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ate Kik having to interfere. Ate Kik didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. Godfried van Driest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Carter having to interfere. Tomas Overmars hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Chip Kitching charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chip Kitching the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Chip Kitching hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfried van Driest in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Carter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Meliestraat SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
