Wesley Robinson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 25th minute, Baltasar Mourinho made a precise shot to the right of Philip Carter. Qurbo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 29th minute, Flávio Dantas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Philip Carter. The goal made the score 3-1. 34 minutes into the match, Leon Vickers notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of SC Valdujo's Maurício Mansilha. Maurício Mansilha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Baltasar Mourinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Valdujo's supporters rose to their feet, but Baltasar Mourinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Carter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flávio Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Valdujo booed when Qurbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Warren Winehouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Máximo Quental charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Máximo Quental the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Valdujo's Máximo Quental got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Leon Vickers could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Maurício Mansilha however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 65 minutes, Flávio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Valdujo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flávio Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Wesley Robinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Mansilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Mourinho in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Carter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Qurbo FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Matthew Hamer hit a great ball. Philip Carter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Quental in the 79th minute of play. Philip Carter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Mourinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Leon Vickers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Mansilha having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Valdujo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Qurbo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
