Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flávio Dantas took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of SC Valdujo booed when Ellecom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Ijkwezen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Flávio Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Karel Spannenburg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ellecom FC's Karel Spannenburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Dantas in the 6th minute of play. Youri Waesbergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Mansilha having to interfere. Jan-Peter Wittendorp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Maurício Mansilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higino Malta hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Soveral kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Filip Blikman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurício Mansilha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Youri Waesbergen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Barry Schenkhuizen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Youri Waesbergen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, SC Valdujo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Vidigal to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Mansilha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Hilberts in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes SC Valdujo got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Dantas. Maurício Mansilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Hilberts in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, SC Valdujo's Jesualdo Barata seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jesualdo Barata the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Valdujo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jesualdo Barata had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a little luck, Ellecom FC's Karel Spannenburg got control of the ball when Baltasar Mourinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Youri Waesbergen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youri Waesbergen in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurício Mansilha saved SC Valdujo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ellecom FC's Gerwin Oortwijn got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Higino Malta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karel Spannenburg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Youri Waesbergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Mansilha having to interfere. Raymond Ijkwezen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Baltasar Mourinho struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Karel Spannenburg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Valdujo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Mourinho in the 61st minute of play forced Ellecom FC's goalkeeper Karel Spannenburg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Quental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Spannenburg having to interfere. Youri Waesbergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Mansilha having to interfere. Baltasar Mourinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Spannenburg having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Máximo Quental got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Youri Waesbergen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Mansilha having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Gerwin Oortwijn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ellecom FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Valdujo the free kick. Gerwin Oortwijn hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Vicente Vidigal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Valdujo and the Ellecom FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of SC Valdujo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ellecom FC:s goal. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Ellecom FC. Marcel Hilberts stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maurício Mansilha. 1-2. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Youri Waesbergen put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Maurício Mansilha. After 98 played minutes Ellecom FC got a freekick which was hit by Barry Schenkhuizen. Ellecom FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
