San jose fc's Esteban Magaña got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Magaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ate Kik having to interfere. If Godfried van Driest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of San jose fc booed when Meliestraat SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Twan Zomerdijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Brizuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joost van der Leegte in the 37th minute of play. Pedro Brizuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfried van Driest in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfried van Driest in the 40th minute of play forced San jose fc's goalkeeper Pedro Brizuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Brizuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Twan Zomerdijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sipke Degenkamp hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Meliestraat SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sipke Degenkamp to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonso Villamayor to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, José Luis Montañas managed to get in a good position for a shot. San jose fc's supporters rose to their feet, but José Luis Montañas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When José Luis Montañas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the San jose fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Luis Montañas couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Philip van der Sar made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Brizuela. San jose fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 70th match minute, San jose fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvano Hart to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Brizuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Tevreden, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonso Villamayor in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joost van der Leegte in the 76th minute of play forced San jose fc's goalkeeper Pedro Brizuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to San jose fc getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carlitos Macías hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, San jose fc's goal looked a bit too open when Joost van der Leegte came free, but Pedro Brizuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Godfried van Driest ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Brizuela was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Meliestraat SC had played much better football throughout.
