The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Antônio Carlos Tasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Svennis Grabbar FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Svennis Grabbar FF's Manoel Furlan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Graspeel FC's zone, Ulrik Qvarnström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen came out of the goal and Ulrik Qvarnström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Tasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hendrik-Jan Willemsen. Graspeel FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Carlos Tasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 15th minute, Niek Pilage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Antônio Carlos Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lukas Sturm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maikel Daamen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Tasso notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Graspeel FC's Hendrik-Jan Willemsen. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th match minute, Svennis Grabbar FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Carlos Tasso to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Manoel Furlan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Tasso's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Lucas Stuifzand kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Graspeel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Tasso came free, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Graspeel FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Svennis Grabbar FF were winning 0-6.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdi Hermensen to strike the kick off in the second half. Rune Falk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manoel Furlan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Hendrik-Jan Willemsen 57 minutes into the match. Benjamin Spierenburg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Graspeel FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Niek Pilage hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match, Antônio Carlos Tasso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ernst Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Manoel Furlan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Svennis Grabbar FF's Manoel Furlan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrik-Jan Willemsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Matthias Hedvall with Ernst Skog as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 77th minute, Lukas Sturm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Manoel Furlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Svennis Grabbar FF's Hendrik-Jan Willemsen threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antônio Carlos Tasso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Svennis Grabbar FF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
