Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Wesley Robinson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. José Luis Montañas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Carter having to interfere. Pedro Brizuela came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Qurbo FC's Matthew Hamer. But to his dismay, Matthew Hamer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthew Hamer during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Qurbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthew Hamer to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Gilberto Schultz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San jose fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qurbo FC the free kick. A collision led to San jose fc getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gilberto Schultz hit a great ball. San jose fc's Gilberto Schultz got his second yellow card of the match in the 13th minute. The referee ordered Gilberto Schultz off the ground. 16 minutes into the game, Leon Vickers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pedro Brizuela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucas Slater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 played minutes Qurbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Vic Johnson. After 27 minutes, Elián Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San jose fc and the Qurbo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elián Linares hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Pedro Brizuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Slater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vic Johnson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Matthew Hamer hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, San jose fc's José Luis Montañas got a free kick in the 34th minute. Pedro Brizuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Robinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Philip Carter made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Luis Montañas in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Qurbo FC's zone, José Luis Montañas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Carter came out of the goal and José Luis Montañas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Qurbo FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Luis Montañas to make the kick off. Pedro Brizuela was a little too slow when Wesley Robinson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-4. 58 minutes into the game, Matthew Hamer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Brizuela. Matthew Hamer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Pedro Brizuela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 65th minute, Lucas Slater left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qurbo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Philip Carter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Grazia in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Qurbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Luis Montañas came free, but Philip Carter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Luis Montañas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Philip Carter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlitos Macías fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Carter having to interfere. Matthew Hamer was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 82nd minute, Matthew Hamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Robinson in the 86th minute of play forced San jose fc's goalkeeper Pedro Brizuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the game, Esteban Magaña landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Chip Kitching charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chip Kitching the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. San jose fc's Miguel Ángel Lamas was substituted for Esteban Magaña. The supporters of San jose fc booed when Qurbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chip Kitching didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Qurbo FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
