Gaffar Hünkar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute, Youri Waesbergen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of MiranKA booed when Ellecom FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Hilberts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaffar Hünkar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Youri Waesbergen in the 11th minute of the match. Kemal Şahtürk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Karel Spannenburg made a huge save. After some careless play in the MiranKA defense, Youri Waesbergen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaffar Hünkar. The MiranKA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaffar Hünkar should have stopped the shot. If Youri Waesbergen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Ellecom FC's goalkeeper Karel Spannenburg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kemal Şahtürk. Gaffar Hünkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Waesbergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Youri Waesbergen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anıl Perkel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Karel Spannenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karel Spannenburg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anıl Perkel in the 46th minute of play. If Gerwin Oortwijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Youri Waesbergen made a kick off. If Filip Blikman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Waesbergen in the 54th minute of play forced MiranKA's goalkeeper Gaffar Hünkar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute, Jan-Peter Wittendorp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Ellecom FC's Youri Waesbergen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaffar Hünkar. That made the score 0-4 after 61 minutes of play. Anıl Perkel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Spannenburg having to interfere. Filip Blikman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Murat Boyraz fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MiranKA's protests and gave Murat Boyraz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Murat Boyraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaffar Hünkar was a little too slow when Jan-Peter Wittendorp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-5. Gaffar Hünkar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Vrede in the 72nd minute. Gaffar Hünkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Waesbergen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After having played for 77 minutes, Youri Waesbergen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ellecom FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Youri Waesbergen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MiranKA's Gaffar Hünkar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Youri Waesbergen in the 78th minute of play. After 81 played minutes MiranKA got a freekick which was hit by Kemal Şahtürk. After 88 minutes of play MiranKA's Kemal Şahtürk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, MiranKA's Kemal Şahtürk got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MiranKA's zone, Youri Waesbergen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaffar Hünkar came out of the goal and Youri Waesbergen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ellecom FC's Bram Roodenburg got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in MiranKA's zone, Jan-Peter Wittendorp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaffar Hünkar came out of the goal and Jan-Peter Wittendorp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ellecom FC played a much better game than MiranKA and deserved their victory. The MiranKA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
