Philip Carter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Ferdi Hermensen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Carter was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 14 played minutes Qurbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Slater. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Robinson in the 18th minute of the match. When %teams%'s Leon Vickers was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-2 just inside the left pole, 19 minutes into the game. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Robinson in the 22nd minute of play forced Graspeel FC's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Willemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Carter came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Graspeel FC's Ferdi Hermensen. But to his dismay, Ferdi Hermensen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Philip Carter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Hermensen in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Graspeel FC's Henry van Zalingen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 41st match minute, Graspeel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carel Grijp to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Graspeel FC's Ferdi Hermensen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Carter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Robinson in the 45th minute of play. Ferdi Hermensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wesley Robinson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Slater in the 51st minute of play. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 2-4 when Leon Vickers sped through Graspeel FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hendrik-Jan Willemsen. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Qurbo FC's Leon Vickers. But to his dismay, Leon Vickers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. When Graspeel FC's Ferdi Hermensen in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Qurbo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Ferdi Hermensen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Graspeel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdi Hermensen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Ferdi Hermensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Graspeel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdi Hermensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Carter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kris Rushmere's late challenge caught a Graspeel FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kris Rushmere helped the player get up and apologised. 71 minutes into the game, one of Qurbo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Graspeel FC. Niek Pilage stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Philip Carter. 3-5. Ferdi Hermensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Carter having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Qurbo FC's Matthew Hamer got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Philip Carter was a little too slow when Ferdi Hermensen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 3-6. 3-7 became the score in the 86th minute when Ferdi Hermensen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Matthew Hamer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Qurbo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Hamer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Slater hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Graspeel FC played a much better game than Qurbo FC and deserved their victory. The Qurbo FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
