Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marko Sillén took the kick off in the first half of the match. Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Meliestraat SC from getting a goal against them. The Meliestraat SC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Meliestraat SC's Godfried van Driest looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Marko Carlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trönödal's supporters rose to their feet, but Marko Carlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ate Kik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Godfried van Driest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marko Carlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfried van Driest in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rickard Ferm saved Trönödal from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Sillén in the 28th minute of play forced Meliestraat SC's goalkeeper Ate Kik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfried van Driest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rickard Ferm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Overmars charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Overmars the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Trönödal booed when Meliestraat SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Overmars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trönödal's Marko Sillén got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Holger Walmarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trönödal's Rickard Ferm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfried van Driest in the 45th minute of play. Joost van der Leegte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rickard Ferm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godfried van Driest was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Meliestraat SC's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Bjursell came free, but Ate Kik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Trönödal getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Marko Carlberg hit a great ball. Michael Falck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Johannes Brummer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik didn't even have to move. 62 minutes into the game, Heiko Driessens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rickard Ferm. Heiko Driessens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Hendrik-Jan Haken came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Meliestraat SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hendrik-Jan Haken couldn't finish the play. Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Carlberg in the 66th minute of play. If Marko Carlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Godfried van Driest came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Meliestraat SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfried van Driest couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Meliestraat SC booed when Trönödal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Bjursell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hendrik-Jan Haken blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rickard Ferm having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfried van Driest in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rickard Ferm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Michael Falck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ate Kik was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ate Kik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Falck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Alfred Tevreden sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Trönödal's Rickard Ferm didn't even have to move. Meliestraat SC's Sipke Degenkamp pulled a muscle in his leg after 90 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Meliestraat SC's Dick Dorenbosch was substituted for Sipke Degenkamp. Michael Falck hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sverker Bjursell hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Godfried van Driest struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rickard Ferm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meliestraat SC.
