After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Mihăiţă Hurezeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horus's supporters rose to their feet, but Mihăiţă Hurezeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Mansilha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Călin Ungheanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Mourinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Mourinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 minutes, Baltasar Mourinho made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Horus's Călin Ungheanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baltasar Mourinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Călin Ungheanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baltasar Mourinho during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Baltasar Mourinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Călin Ungheanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Mourinho in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Horus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Zdrehuş to maneuver through the defense. Flávio Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Máximo Quental mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Valdujo and the Horus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes SC Valdujo got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Quental. 40 minutes into the match, Horus's Mihăiţă Hurezeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurício Mansilha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Máximo Quental hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Maurício Mansilha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Grigoriu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 46th match minute, SC Valdujo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Vidigal to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Mihăiţă Hurezeanu struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Maurício Mansilha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horus. Máximo Quental was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, SC Valdujo's Máximo Quental got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, SC Valdujo's Flávio Dantas got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes, Horus's Corneliu Encuțu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurício Mansilha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Horus reached it. When Higino Malta fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Valdujo's protests and gave Higino Malta a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SC Valdujo's Higino Malta got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Maurício Mansilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Grigoriu in the 63rd minute of the match. Higino Malta hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Horus getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. David Gârbovan hit a great ball. SC Valdujo's Juvenal Lima shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Călin Ungheanu but with some difficulty. After 75 minutes Horus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juvenal Lima who took care of the corner kick. Pompiliu Ciutacu tried in the 75th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Călin Ungheanu a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-2. When Horus's Mihăiţă Hurezeanu in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Valdujo's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Horus's Călin Ungheanu got control of the ball when Baltasar Mourinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Flávio Dantas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. In the 83rd minute, Flávio Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Mansilha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Grigoriu's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Horus got a corner. SC Valdujo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Corneliu Encuțu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 88 minutes, Tiberiu Orghidan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horus and the SC Valdujo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Valdujo booed when Horus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Orghidan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Horus's Edgar Grigoriu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Mansilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute Edgar Grigoriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Mansilha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihăiţă Hurezeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
