Aldo Santagata started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Baltasar Mourinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-2 became the score in the 12th minute when Aldo Santagata elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Aldo Santagata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurício Mansilha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to San Vito getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Cristoforo Bassani hit a great ball. After 22 minutes of play, San Vito's Aldo Santagata made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Mansilha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabrizio Pugliese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Dantas in the 27th minute of play. Diego Pierdomenico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Maurício Mansilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Cristoforo Bassani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, San Vito's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Dantas came free, but Fabrizio Pugliese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SC Valdujo booed when San Vito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Bassani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Flávio Dantas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabrizio Pugliese. The goal made the score 1-4. Maurício Mansilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Santagata, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrico Tarulli in the 56th minute of play forced SC Valdujo's goalkeeper Maurício Mansilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aldo Santagata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Vito's Fabrizio Pugliese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Dantas in the 62nd minute of play. Maurício Mansilha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Santagata in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SC Valdujo's zone, Aldo Santagata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Mansilha came out of the goal and Aldo Santagata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Santagata in the 69th minute of play forced SC Valdujo's goalkeeper Maurício Mansilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SC Valdujo booed when San Vito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Tarulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Santagata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Mansilha having to interfere. Flávio Dantas struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Fabrizio Pugliese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Valdujo. SC Valdujo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aldo Santagata 80 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. After some careless play in the San Vito defense, Flávio Dantas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabrizio Pugliese. The San Vito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrizio Pugliese should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Flávio Dantas notched a goal, 3-5, to the right of San Vito's Fabrizio Pugliese. Fabrizio Pugliese was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Aldo Santagata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over San Vito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Valdujo throughout the match.
