Kasım Kargin's late challenge caught a Horus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasım Kargin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Kasım Kargin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute Mihăiţă Hurezeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Ezine's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after David Gârbovan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Hurezeanu in the 17th minute of play. Ezine's Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ezine from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Tarık Şemsifer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Mihăiţă Hurezeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Grigoriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihăiţă Hurezeanu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Mehmet Bedri Tokuzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ezine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Bedri Tokuzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Hurezeanu in the 41st minute of play. Ezine's Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihăiţă Hurezeanu in the 43rd minute of play. Edgar Grigoriu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ezine were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Horus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vecdet Erçin took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Asaf Tenzil to score against Călin Ungheanu in Horus's goal. 1-2 after 53 minutes. 59 minutes into the game, Edgar Grigoriu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Grigoriu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Horus's Mihăiţă Hurezeanu in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Eusebiu Zdrehuş fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horus's protests and gave Eusebiu Zdrehuş a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Horus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Zdrehuş to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Erdem Burçhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Mehmet Bedri Tokuzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Horus's Anton Bojonca got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Mihăiţă Hurezeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Bedri Tokuzer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Călin Ungheanu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Grigoriu in the 96th minute of play forced Ezine's goalkeeper Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
