Ezine's Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfried van Driest in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfried van Driest in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey saved Ezine from getting behind. In the 38th minute Ahmet Erdem Burçhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ate Kik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried van Driest, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ahmet Erdem Burçhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Ezine's Mehmet Bedri Tokuzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ate Kik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Meliestraat SC's Joost van der Leegte got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Godfried van Driest might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfried van Driest ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Ahmet Erdem Burçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfried van Driest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 minutes of play, Ezine's Kasım Kargin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ate Kik was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Godfried van Driest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ahmet Erdem Burçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ezine's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Erdem Burçhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ate Kik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Godfried van Driest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfried van Driest struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meliestraat SC. Meliestraat SC's Godfried van Driest managed to work through Ezine's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Godfried van Driest dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Godfried van Driest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Ezine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasım Kargin to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Godfried van Driest got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 91 played minutes Ezine got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Bedri Tokuzer. In the 94th minute, Godfried van Driest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Meliestraat SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ezine.
