In the 2nd match minute, Horus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Hurezeanu to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Stuifzand kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihăiţă Hurezeanu in the 7th minute of play forced Graspeel FC's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Willemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Heulmann kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Graspeel FC's Hendrik-Jan Willemsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Grigoriu in the 8th minute of play. Horus's Anton Bojonca got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Horus fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Horus's Edgar Grigoriu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgar Grigoriu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Horus's goalkeeper Călin Ungheanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Grigoriu in the 20th minute of play forced Graspeel FC's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Willemsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Mircea Cămărășan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen skillfully saved the ball. Ferdi Hermensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Ungheanu having to interfere. Călin Ungheanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferdi Hermensen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. If David Gârbovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horus's Călin Ungheanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Hermensen in the 35th minute of play. When Edgar Grigoriu came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Horus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Grigoriu couldn't finish the play. Eusebiu Zdrehuş kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Henry van Zalingen took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Călin Ungheanu to make any attempt to save it. 44 minutes into the game, Mircea Cămărășan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Graspeel FC the free kick. After 44 played minutes Horus got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Cămărășan. When Henry van Zalingen came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Graspeel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry van Zalingen couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihăiţă Hurezeanu to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Horus's goal looked a bit too open when Niek Pilage came free, but Călin Ungheanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Horus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Zdrehuş to maneuver through the defense. If Ferdi Hermensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferdi Hermensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Grigoriu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Ferdi Hermensen notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Horus's Călin Ungheanu. Călin Ungheanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ferdi Hermensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Graspeel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdi Hermensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Ungheanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Eusebiu Zdrehuş rounded Graspeel FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Edgar Grigoriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen made a huge save. A collision led to Graspeel FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lucas Stuifzand hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Edgar Grigoriu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihăiţă Hurezeanu in the 87th minute of the match. Ferdi Hermensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Ungheanu having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Horus players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Graspeel FC.
