Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Godfried van Driest took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Meliestraat SC booed when Graspeel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niek Pilage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdi Hermensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ate Kik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdi Hermensen ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Graspeel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried van Driest came free, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niek Pilage came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Graspeel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niek Pilage couldn't finish the play. Ferdi Hermensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ate Kik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Hermensen in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Ferdi Hermensen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ate Kik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Meliestraat SC's Hendrik-Jan Haken got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hendrik-Jan Haken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hendrik-Jan Willemsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hendrik-Jan Haken in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hendrik-Jan Willemsen saved Graspeel FC from getting behind. If Lukas Sturm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Meliestraat SC's Hendrik-Jan Haken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hendrik-Jan Willemsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lukas Sturm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Hermensen to make the kick off. Joris Wolf's late challenge caught a Meliestraat SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joris Wolf helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Graspeel FC got a freekick which was hit by Joris Wolf. 1-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Hendrik-Jan Haken elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Meliestraat SC from getting a goal against them. Meliestraat SC's Ate Kik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Sturm in the 63rd minute of play. When Graspeel FC's Niek Pilage in 66 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Ate Kik guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfried van Driest in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hendrik-Jan Willemsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 played minutes Meliestraat SC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Willem Scholte. Meliestraat SC's Philip van der Sar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Adelaar, made in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 74thth minute of the game Godfried van Driest who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Graspeel FC's Hendrik-Jan Willemsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Overmars hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Hendrik-Jan Haken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Meliestraat SC defense, Ferdi Hermensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ate Kik. The Meliestraat SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ate Kik should have stopped the shot. After 85 minutes, Lukas Sturm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Graspeel FC and the Meliestraat SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Graspeel FC got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Sturm. Godfried van Driest's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik-Jan Willemsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Ate Kik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdi Hermensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Graspeel FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
