Youri Waesbergen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Günay Uçkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ezine's Tarık Şemsifer got a free kick in the 8th minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Youri Waesbergen sped through Ezine's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey. After having played for 17 minutes, Youri Waesbergen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ellecom FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Youri Waesbergen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ellecom FC's Youri Waesbergen shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 23rd minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. Ellecom FC's Youri Waesbergen got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raymond Ijkwezen's late challenge caught a Ezine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raymond Ijkwezen helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Ellecom FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ezine:s goal. After some careless play in the Ellecom FC defense, Vecdet Erçin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karel Spannenburg. The Ellecom FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karel Spannenburg should have stopped the shot. In the 40th minute Jan-Peter Wittendorp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günay Uçkun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Günay Uçkun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Youri Waesbergen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Waesbergen in the 51st minute of play. After 52 minutes of play, Ellecom FC's Jan-Peter Wittendorp made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey was left in no man's land by his defense there! Asaf Tenzil hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ahmet Erdem Burçhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karel Spannenburg having to interfere. In the 61st minute Youri Waesbergen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karel Spannenburg had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Vecdet Erçin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jan-Peter Wittendorp kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ezine's zone, Youri Waesbergen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey came out of the goal and Youri Waesbergen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Günay Uçkun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Karel Spannenburg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ellecom FC's Gerwin Oortwijn managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erdinç Bozoğlu in the 81 minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Ezine's goal looked a bit too open when Youri Waesbergen came free, but Mehmet Çağrı Yalazabey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ellecom FC's Jan-Peter Wittendorp got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
