Silvério Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arman Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 24th minute, Gualter Nóbrega reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harald Mogren. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to Academia Militar MZ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Tinoco hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Sven-Edvin Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Edvin Dahlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Militar MZ's goalkeeper Silvério Netto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvério Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arman Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Eduardo Tinoco to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Dedé Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arman Åberg got free with Silvério Netto in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Academia Militar MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haymakers FC the free kick. In the 69th minute, one of Academia Militar MZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Academia Militar MZ. When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Haymakers FC's Sven-Edvin Dahlberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Silvério Netto. Silvério Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A hard shot 79 in the game by Sven-Edvin Dahlberg from a close distance when the talented Silvério Netto managed to make a qualified save. Academia Militar MZ's players were relieved. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Silvério Netto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 96th match minute, Haymakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Billy Jernberg to maneuver through the defense. Haymakers FC played a much better game than Academia Militar MZ and deserved their victory. The Academia Militar MZ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
