The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Bagarmossen's Viktor Apelqvist got control of the ball when Toninho Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Academia Militar MZ's Gualter Nóbrega slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Viktor Apelqvist. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Toninho Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Militar MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Apelqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gualter Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Militar MZ's protests and gave Gualter Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. Gualter Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Ingvar Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvério Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Bagarmossen's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Dias came free, but Viktor Apelqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bagarmossen's Viktor Apelqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Tinoco in the 34th minute of play. Viktor Apelqvist came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Militar MZ's Toninho Dias. But to his dismay, Toninho Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Luiz Eduardo Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Apelqvist having to interfere. Viktor Apelqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Apelqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Dias in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ingvar Ek made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Academia Militar MZ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Toninho Dias hit a great ball. After 59 minutes of play, Academia Militar MZ's Gualter Nóbrega made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Apelqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viktor Apelqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Apelqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Gualter Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Toninho Dias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viktor Apelqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Eduardo Tinoco in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Viktor Apelqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 82 minutes into the match, Bagarmossen's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Nóbrega came free, but Viktor Apelqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Bagarmossen defense, Luiz Eduardo Tinoco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viktor Apelqvist. The Bagarmossen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viktor Apelqvist should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Dedé Carneiro notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Bagarmossen's Viktor Apelqvist. Viktor Apelqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualter Nóbrega in the 91st minute of play forced Bagarmossen's goalkeeper Viktor Apelqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Luiz Eduardo Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Apelqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Academia Militar MZ fully deserved thier win.
