Francisco Pope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 5th match minute, Haymakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Nyman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 12 minutes, Sven-Edvin Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haymakers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Edvin Dahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Pope made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Arman Åberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Haymakers FC booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Pate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Sandberg. Harald Mogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew Latham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Drew Latham hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Dahlberg in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Pope saved Key Biscayne FC from getting behind. A collision led to Key Biscayne FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Brice Carey hit a great ball. Sven-Edvin Dahlberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Francisco Pope skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Stig-Åke Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Francisco Pope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Åberg in the 34th minute of play. Harald Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Pate in the 35th minute of play. Francisco Pope made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Arman Åberg sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Dahlberg in the 39th minute of play forced Key Biscayne FC's goalkeeper Francisco Pope to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Edvin Dahlberg made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Harald Mogren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Francisco Pope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Åberg in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Roland Giliusson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Key Biscayne FC's Francisco Pope. Francisco Pope was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
