In the 2nd minute, Michal Mičian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomáš Gál had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, Tierp FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Gál came free, but Kjell-Arne Axelsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dušan Szilagyi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixten Odén went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 15 minutes, Andrej Maliniak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DAC 1904 and the Tierp FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andrej Maliniak hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Dušan Szilagyi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Erik Trillkott's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Tierp FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FC DAC 1904's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan-Erik Trillkott took the corner. Tierp FC's Jan-Erik Trillkott was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dušan Szilagyi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, FC DAC 1904's Tomáš Gál got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Trillkott in the 32nd minute of play forced FC DAC 1904's goalkeeper Dušan Szilagyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Mičian scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell-Arne Axelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jan-Erik Trillkott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tierp FC's zone, Michal Mičian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell-Arne Axelsson came out of the goal and Michal Mičian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC DAC 1904's Dušan Szilagyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Odén in the 43rd minute of play. Sixten Odén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Erik Trillkott made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Tierp FC's Sixten Odén ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dušan Szilagyi. Dušan Szilagyi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. A collision led to FC DAC 1904 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Richard Dzuba hit a great ball. Sixten Odén was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Tierp FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sixten Odén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Dušan Szilagyi made a huge save. In the 59th minute of the match Tierp FC got a corner. FC DAC 1904's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan-Erik Trillkott ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tierp FC's Jan-Erik Trillkott was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dušan Szilagyi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Michal Mičian came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the FC DAC 1904 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Mičian couldn't finish the play. Sixten Odén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dušan Szilagyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Branislav Kubičko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC DAC 1904's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tierp FC the free kick. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC DAC 1904's goalkeeper Dušan Szilagyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dušan Szilagyi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Erik Trillkott showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 77 minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Michal Mičian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Kjell-Arne Axelsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the game, Tomáš Gál was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC DAC 1904's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tierp FC the free kick.
