The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Meireles in the 5th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Diamantino Senna successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, BRASIL.Sp's Emanuel Figueiredo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Marcel Hoffmann missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 12 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Caio Penha right hand side. A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Vasconcelos hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Chico Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Lira in the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durval Meireles in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diamantino Senna saved Futbol Club RRFV from getting behind. When Dedê Freire fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol Club RRFV's protests and gave Dedê Freire a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Dedê Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Mineiro in the 30th minute of play. Diamantino Senna made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Lon Lanteigne sent off a good shot on target. When Frédson Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the BRASIL.Sp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frédson Mineiro couldn't finish the play. Durval Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diamantino Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Durval Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to BRASIL.Sp getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kléber Ferreira hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Meireles came free, but Diamantino Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes, Durval Meireles made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Futbol Club RRFV's Diamantino Senna tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in BRASIL.Sp's zone, Leonel Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio Penha came out of the goal and Leonel Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Sanches came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Caio Penha could save by the left post. Leonel Sanchess short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Caio Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Senna came free, but Caio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Meireles in the 72nd minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Diamantino Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's Durval Meireles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diamantino Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Diamantino Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Hélder Munhoz made a precise shot to the right of Diamantino Senna. Futbol Club RRFV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
