Danone CC's Jairo Macedo was substituted for Marquinhos Coelho. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lance Pate made a kick off. Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Mock in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Clemente Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute Drew Latham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Francisco Pope made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Pena in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Pope saved Key Biscayne FC from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Vladimir de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Pope. Key Biscayne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Jairo Macedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Pope. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Macedo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Key Biscayne FC's Dexter Benton got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dinei de Medeiros didn't quite understand what happened when in the 92 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Danone CC's Cyprian Grajewski got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Danone CC booed when Key Biscayne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Carey didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Danone CC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
