The supporters of MKS Pogoń Szczecin booed when VN Keleler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Hedvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wieslaw Dudkowski, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With an all-out effort, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Velimir Popchev threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Witold Ciszewski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jardel Cabezon took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Velimir Popchev. Velimir Popchev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Velimir Popchev made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jardel Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Wiktor Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyit Bozbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Velimir Popchev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Cabezon in the 16th minute of play. Erkan Okan kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Wiktor Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Lund in the 21st minute of the match. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovando Vera in the 23rd minute of play. When Wieslaw Dudkowski fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MKS Pogoń Szczecin's protests and gave Wieslaw Dudkowski a yellow card for diving instead. Wieslaw Dudkowski hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Kajetan Rojewski got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Andreas Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiktor Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Kenan Pınar in the 33rd minute of the match. VN Keleler's Velimir Popchev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save VN Keleler from getting a goal against them. Clodoveo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. VN Keleler were furious when Gong Yuan Yu was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of VN Keleler:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MKS Pogoń Szczecin:s goal. Velimir Popchev had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Clodoveo Ponce's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Hakkı Kenan Pınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Dudkowski having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stuart Byman to strike the kick off in the second half. Stuart Byman in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wiktor Dudkowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 58th minute, Andreas Lund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN Keleler fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Jardel Cabezon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Velimir Popchev was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Velimir Popchev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Ponce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wiktor Dudkowski was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Hakkı Kenan Pınar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hakkı Kenan Pınar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 74th minute, VN Keleler's Stuart Byman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Hakkı Kenan Pınar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wiktor Dudkowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Hakkı Kenan Pınar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 80th minute. The MKS Pogoń Szczecin fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Jardel Cabezon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 95 minutes into the match, VN Keleler's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Cabezon came free, but Velimir Popchev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The MKS Pogoń Szczecin supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VN Keleler's performance. The match ended with a win for VN Keleler.
