Marco Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Jespersson in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, 大汉•钓鱼岛's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Odilon came free, but Gearard 诸葛亮 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Martin Goren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marco Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Basso in the 17th minute of play forced Morteros's goalkeeper Marco Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evaristo Odilon scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gearard 诸葛亮, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morteros's Marco Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Morteros from getting a goal against them. Cai Bo Ran charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cai Bo Ran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Morteros got a freekick which was hit by Cai Bo Ran. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when 大汉•钓鱼岛's Valentin Pacifico in the 35th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Marco Santo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Morteros through an amazing save. Marco Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 任坤克, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Marco Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 苏克鸿 went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 93 minutes into the match, Mohamed Basso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Santo. Morteros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Basso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. When the referee ended the match the 大汉•钓鱼岛 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
