After 30 played minutes Sumalao FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Garin. Thanks to some nice moves with his feet 32 minutes in the game Samuel Frichoso managed to fire away a quick shot, that unfortunally went outside the top left corner. A very good opportunity for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Sumalao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Iruinea came free, but Rolando Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Abajas during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Morteros a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Samuel Frichoso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sumalao FC's Rolando Sedeni. 3-0. Sumalao FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
