When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Jessop Salah took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Efrain Romo to make any attempt to save it. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 6th minute, but Efrain Romo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Prophecy hanging dry this time. Camilo Arozamena kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Prophecy getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Federico Ozaolaza hit a great ball. Jessop Salah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Romo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Sumalao FC's Luisito Leizarraga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Romo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Sumalao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Salsoro came free, but Rolando Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Prophecy booed when Sumalao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Sumalao FC's Jessop Salah ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Romo. Efrain Romo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 29th minute Alvaro Salsoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Luisito Leizarraga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Efrain Romo. Luisito Leizarraga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Prophecy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Luisito Leizarraga scored to the left of an out of position Efrain Romo, making the score, 5-0. After 42 minutes of play, Prophecy's Alvaro Salsoro made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Sedeni was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Leonel Hibai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sumalao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prophecy the free kick. After 45 played minutes Sumalao FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Hibai. Luis Rodil's late challenge caught a Sumalao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Rodil helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Prophecy's zone, Miguel Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Romo came out of the goal and Miguel Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Camilo Arozamena might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Sedeni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Arozamena ran back to his position shaking his head. Efrain Romo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Refugio went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Efrain Romo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Ortigoza in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Sumalao FC booed when Prophecy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Ponga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sumalao FC's Rolando Sedeni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Sumalao FC from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Salsoro struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Rolando Sedeni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prophecy.
