Thanks to some nice moves 曾平斌 could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Xulio Prats however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Barcelona Sporting Club defense, Ayberk Akgün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xulio Prats. The Barcelona Sporting Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xulio Prats should have stopped the shot. Ayberk Akgün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xulio Prats having to interfere. If Ayberk Akgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xulio Prats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayberk Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hector-Luis Laine fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona Sporting Club's protests and gave Hector-Luis Laine a yellow card for diving instead. Ayberk Akgüns short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Xulio Prats to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Artigue hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Xulio Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ayberk Akgün in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Artigue made a kick off. Xulio Prats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Ayberk Akgün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute.
