The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silas Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xulio Prats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Cyryl Kaider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guagua Respaldizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Xulio Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Cyryl Kaider successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th match minute, Barcelona Sporting Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batista Fuica to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Albino Macario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xulio Prats skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Pogoń Staszów booed when Barcelona Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector-Luis Laine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barcelona Sporting Club's Xulio Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Rodrigues in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Raflewski in the 25th minute of play forced Barcelona Sporting Club's goalkeeper Xulio Prats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-0 when De-la-Cruz Avecilla sped through Pogoń Staszów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cyryl Kaider. If Silas Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's Damazy Raflewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xulio Prats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cyryl Kaider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Artigue in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Batista Fuica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Artigue was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Garagorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Cyryl Kaider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyryl Kaider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from De-la-Cruz Avecilla in the 66th minute of the match. Barcelona Sporting Club's Xulio Prats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Rodrigues in the 68th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Pogoń Staszów got a freekick which was hit by Rajmund Zajíc. Damazy Raflewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xulio Prats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling De-la-Cruz Avecilla in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cyryl Kaider prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Pogoń Staszów's Silas Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xulio Prats narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Barcelona Sporting Club booed when Pogoń Staszów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Sayveon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xulio Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Rodrigues in the 96th minute of the match. Damazy Raflewski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 98th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Barcelona Sporting Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pogoń Staszów for a fine match.
