After 14 minutes of play, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xulio Prats was left in no man's land by his defense there! Svend Betz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Despite this Xulio Prats quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half FSX UNITED were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Artigue to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svend Betz in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xulio Prats saved Barcelona Sporting Club from getting behind. After 55 minutes, Svend Betz made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Barcelona Sporting Club's Xulio Prats tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FSX UNITED's Marcelo Salas was substituted for Mircea Popilean. In the 61st minute of the match FSX UNITED got a corner. Aldo Benvenuto made a great header on FSX UNITED's corner, it was just that Barcelona Sporting Club's Xulio Prats managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute Marcelo Salas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xulio Prats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Artigue hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marcelo Salas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSX UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Salas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xulio Prats breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Baesler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amancio Baesler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Xulio Prats when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelo Salas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Xulio Prats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona Sporting Club's zone, Marcelo Salas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xulio Prats came out of the goal and Marcelo Salas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xulio Prats came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Marcelo Salas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xulio Prats, 0-9. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Zebastian Spets got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Barcelona Sporting Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FSX UNITED were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
